Position Description
Integrus is seeking a collaborative, creative individual with strong design sensibility and a passion for elevating human experience through form, space, and materiality. Ideal candidates have a commitment to positively shaping the public realm and value collaboration as an integral component of the design process.
As an experienced Interior Designer, you will be an integral, full-time team member in our Interior Design group as you:
- Effectively communicate with clients to realize and translate their vision into creative design solutions.
- Understand the broader building context, architectural elements, and building systems, and work alongside these elements in an integrated way.
- Develop, prepare, and coordinate verbal and visual presentation content.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to coordinate project details.
- Work independently and alongside a team to meet project constraints of budget and schedule.
A successful candidate is highly communicative, possesses the ability to motivate others to reach finite milestones, and contributes expertise to project teams.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in interior design or a related field.
- NCIDQ Certification
- Familiarity with overseeing or mentoring junior staff is a plus.
- Experience with FFE (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) design and deliverables.
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and graphic skills.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
Position Preferences
- Public Sector work experience, especially Higher Education, K-12 Education, Libraries and Civic work.
- Proficiency with design software programs: Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Salary Range
This position offers $85,000 - $98,000 per year. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience and market.
